Just in time for Halloween, Scary digital changes are coming to the web.
The Spider Juice Technologies/Spider Cave Studios got visited by the meta man.
So Zuckerberg announced that he is Winklevossing his company that in fact he Winklevossed into existence.
What is Winklevossing?
Supposedly Zuck was inspired at Harvard from two brothers named Winklevoss to create something very similar to Facebook. As the mythology goes, much to the dismay of the two brothers, he left the development team and created his own version which we came to know as Facebook.
One might instead call this the “MySpace protocol” because it was not so long ago that MySpace was the Facebook of that era. Until the kids today ask, “what is MySpace?”.
There are many theories and conspiracies on why the founder has put Facebook into a shell called Meta.
Interestingly in the Greek meta means “beyond”.
My own familiarity with the term is from Neuro Linguistic Programming which relies on influences in computer programming and language in order to help them model the human experience. Their “meta-model”, and “meta-programs” come to mind.
From that discipline my definition of meta has come to be embraced as the “meaning of the meaning”.
So what does that and 50 cents get you?
Hopefully more than a cup of coffee, but also know that in the tech world change is constant. It often gets replaced and in this case Zuck is disrupting his own party, hoping for a bigger one “beyond” Facebook.
His sizzle reel in the video below however seems to be more of a creepy compilation of his freaky visions. He might want to hire Google’s Alphabet PR team. Just sayin’.

What is an example of a Metamessage?
A meta-message describes those messages that come through reading between the lines.ie. You ask how I am doing? I reply, “awesome” but my tone does not match the words.
What is a meta answer?
A meta-answer is best thought of as a container for an answer or answers.
What is metacommunication?
Psychologists define metacommunication as the sum of your verbal and non-verbal communication. For example, if you say “Glad to see you” to someone and roll your eyes at the same time, they will not feel that you are actually glad to see them.
What is the best definition of meta-communication?
Meta-communication is a secondary communication (including indirect cues) about how a piece of information is meant to be interpreted.
There are several takeaways for you:

To change either requires massive disruption. Zuck is disrupting and maybe he knows something that we don’t. - What is the meaning of the meaning? the beyond in your business that adds layers of texture to your offerings? How much depth can you add to your business that makes the consumer experience more richer. To go inside and to really feel your messages. Turn a lightbulb on inside your prospects and clients head and you always own a part of their thinking on your subject.
- Piggyback. How can you piggyback stories in the news? In this article I leveraged the new Zuck creation and play with the word Meta to help you to expand your business metaverse.
- Historical perspective. If you have the age and experience, then pound it as your advantage. Scott Adams call this your “skill stack”. I say to use more of your gears.
- How can you covertly and overtly tap into pre-exisiting biases in your marketplace?
- This article peppers “meta” liberally all over the page. Probably not good SEO or maybe this will trend like Artes, or I mean Meta World Peace. 😉
When I do online content. I always do it with an eye on optimization. Which is not just SEO, but is also hypnotic language, and persona and copy.
I will always choose SEO over all online modalities. However, if you can get social equity while also Google juice and or authority. Why wouldn’t you?
What About the SEO of Things?
So what does this article have that is unique to what I normally do on this site.
- I have optimized the video and photo thumbnail of the video, as well as the Zuckerghost ghost photo full of drumroll please…..you got it, meta-data!
- I also, created a substack account just so I could write a resource blog for the mention about NLP meta-programs (up top). That account has a 84 domain authority and get this, a 39 page authority right out of the gate! I wanted to embed the post as an iframe but substack will not let me. That would had been even more authority!
- The questions are also packed into the FAQ schema which may help this page get ranked and more attention as it list my questions on the SERPS.
- I created jump links from the table of contents up top.
