Using Google Local to Correct a Business Name
I had just attended a celebration at my college JC. Had a ton of photos. And wanted to place them onto El Camino Colleges football stadium’s Google My Business (GMB).
So I did a look for the new name and it had predictably the new name had not caught onto entities out on the web. So I thought I would use some of my SEO magic to make the changes from the old name to the new.
Now this is not just some useless trickery.
As I have used this technique to rid my clients of nasty cheater competitors using keyword names instead of their real business name.
The lesson here is so you get used to the possibilities out on yours and other Google My Business listings.
And I could had probably made the changes without any Google Local Guide status. But my level definitely helps.
