hey there guys it’s Tim O’Keefe spider
0:04juice technologies coach Tim and I am
0:08going to talk about the propulsion at
0:13the beginning the foundation of your
0:16marketing online and frankly off if you
0:21wish to be an authority there are many
0:26reasons why you want to be a publisher
0:29of content online but also offline in
0:33traditional means and but for today
0:35we’re going to talk about how to create
0:38content and I guess you could really it
0:42could fit for the offline world and this
0:46has to do with the discussion I had just
0:48a little bit ago with a client consult
0:51and the best content that you’ll get is
0:56the content that your clients ask you to
0:59create in other words somebody asked me
1:03a question and we got into a discussion
1:06and I showed him many of the reasons why
1:10I agree with some of the things and some
1:12of the reasons why it may not work and
1:16some of the pitfalls out of that I
1:20realized I put together a pretty good
1:23outline for creating content now I have
1:28said this over and over and over again
1:32the best content is the content that
1:35your people ask you to create it’s the
1:41Google approach ok Google is a
1:46collaborative tool it is a curation tool
1:51all Google has done is take all of the
1:56the websites under of various categories
1:58and place the ones they think matter to
2:02you in your queries in a order of what
2:07they think will be most liked that’s it
2:11they’re curating other people’s stuff
2:13they are not they have not created
2:16anything they have instead they have
2:20created a way to display other people’s
2:27creations make sense so they are the
2:31museum curator curating all the
2:33beautiful art so this is what we also
2:38can do with content and you can do this
2:43in many ways so what I like to do as a
2:48general outline is to be told what to
2:51create so I just told you I was asked
2:57some questions I’m gonna give you the
2:59answers in a way that’s more conducive
3:04to podcasting but is basically what I I
3:08told my client in so many ways so I like
3:12to start with the the content structure
3:16being that number one
3:18I’m impulse or compelled to to talk
3:24about a serpent certain theme I may go
3:28on to the various key word tools or just
3:33look at uber suggests or Google for that
3:37topic to see if somebody else has asked
3:40it and how it’s asked and you know if
3:45it’s trending and whatnot and then a
3:49tool that’s pretty cool it’s called
3:51answer the public now they essentially
3:56take a database of words and I think
4:01readability type of engine and they’ll
4:05give you back if you type in let’s say
4:08healthcare they’ll take they’ll put in
4:10all kinds of words around that around
4:17healthcare in the form of questions now
4:20the reality of it is is if you were
4:24really to sit down and do a full who
4:27what when
4:27and why and how you would probably come
4:32up with something pretty similar but
4:35it’s nice to just see it all laid out
4:37and there’s ends up being ideas and and
4:41combinations that maybe you wouldn’t
4:43have thought of so that’s a good start
4:46now normally so then what I’ll do is I
4:49will take the the question and make that
4:55into a subhead so if you’re working on
4:58WordPress as an example what often the
5:03title that you put into the article that
5:06you write into the blog post is in the
5:09form of an h1 tag and so for readability
5:13we would like to take and use other tags
5:19often people just go h2 all the way down
5:23or they may go as they break up a long
5:26paragraph or paragraphs under the same
5:29header they’ll use an h3 than an h4 or
5:34whatnot these help you in your SEO by
5:39the way ok so you do want to do this
5:44strong tags the old bold is still a big
5:48deal in an on-page SEO but H tags are
5:55huge after title h tags are still in
6:00every test number two in the on-page
6:04importance so you’re going to have these
6:08questions you might put those questions
6:12into your your page under H tags and
6:18then write a paragraph answering it or
6:21two or three and then more another H tag
6:25with another question that you got from
6:27answer the public and then so forth and
6:29so on
6:29now I like better than that I like real
6:35questions you know let’s let’s not have
6:38to think too much right so what do I
6:40mean by that
6:42you can go to cora q uo r a.com and you
6:48can post on Quora
6:50it’s worthy of having a profile there
6:57for sure but are you going to get a lot
7:02of a lot of people calling you or you
7:06know what not because of your your
7:09answers probably not probably not it’s
7:13worthy to go in there like anywhere else
7:17and create a profiling questions and
7:26then you you can answer those questions
7:31now if you start getting spammy you can
7:34get links in there too and your videos
7:36which video embeds are a major ranking
7:39factor by the way for your videos you
7:42can get those in there but if it’s not
7:44relevant if it’s just spammy stuff
7:45you’ll be kicked out I I tried to cheat
7:51one time and I mean they were on me like
7:53within minutes and so it’s it’s it’s
7:57pretty well run oiled machine oil
8:00well-oiled machine there but you can
8:04above all that and creating content what
8:08I suggest is going in there under your
8:11industry and under the words that you
8:14want to write about or think you want to
8:16write about and see what questions other
8:19people are asking now there’s two types
8:24of queries right there’s the the
8:29locality query and there’s the service
8:32or product type of query right so if
8:37you’re a dental implant surgeon
8:41someone’s going to type in dental
8:43implants in Torrance dental implant
8:46dentist or doctor in porins right and if
8:52I’m in Torrance a lot of times it’s just
8:54implied I mean
8:55torence but it is a it is a Torrance
8:58based query so it might benefit you to
9:02have information in there about Torrance
9:04it certainly would benefit you to have
9:07information a questions around dental
9:10implants and you can ask Cora that just
9:15type in dental implant or cosmetic
9:17surgery and whatever else is is a
9:20synonym and again go to a dictionary and
9:24find out what’s the synonym two
9:25different words right or go to Google
9:27and see what words are used in the same
9:33vein as dental implant if you put a
9:37squiggly I think it is it’s an operator
9:41in Google you can get a the sentence or
9:49the words let me I’m gonna run this
9:51right now funny enough you’ll get the
9:56the word in there highlighted throughout
10:00the search results and so that that
10:05might help kind of see how it’s used in
10:08some of the descriptions but looking III
10:12like a dictionary go into the into the
10:16actual dictionary and type in synonym
10:18that are the synonym dictionary and look
10:21for words similar to what it is that
10:24that you do and then and then you can
10:29plug that into Cora now there’s other
10:31places too there are questions and and
10:35answer databases there’s answers.com
10:40that I think is part of Yahoo you can go
10:44into there I’ll have all these listed in
10:46the in the show notes you can go if
10:49you’re say a realtor go to industry type
10:52of results there’s a question-and-answer
10:55in the local areas I think it’s called
10:57Trulia voices and you can go in there
11:00and answer questions in your market if
11:03you want rock on do it but you could
11:05also go in and find in there
11:08what people are asking in other markets
11:11and then take it and put it into into
11:16your own website as well as one of the
11:18very relevant questions that people care
11:20about another place that you can go get
11:24this idea from is what was the other one
11:30it was well let me give you another
11:33industry idea so if you’re in like the
11:38cosmetic aesthetics Plastic Surgery
11:41Health grades I think is one is another
11:44one with questions and answers every
11:46industry has their little Q&A forums and
11:50just go in there and go find out what
11:52people are asking you want to go find
11:54some more topics kind of get more down
11:58and dirty
11:59I know copywriters that do this when
12:02they’re writing articles they’ll go into
12:03Amazon under books and there’s a good
12:08list of subjects that people are
12:10actually interested in that that are in
12:16your service area okay so so what do we
12:22listed Cora Amazon answer the public
12:27Trulia Health Care’s industry type
12:29places what else
12:33so one stealthy way that I like I call
12:39this you know wherever you go there you
12:40are method is to embed your content into
12:47your blog’s so as you’re doing this say
12:51you did actually did go and answer at
12:53Quora you can curate that well you can
12:58curate anybody’s stuff right you just
13:00quote them and make sure they get
13:01attribution with a link right or or at
13:06least you know Bill Jones on Quora or
13:09something like that but but typically
13:11and I’m not even sure of the legalities
13:14of this but typically you it requires a
13:18link but I would rather
13:22embed my own stuff so I’ll do a question
13:25and an answer at Quora or even you can
13:32pull posts from Facebook or Twitter ad
13:38nauseum pretty much any platform has an
13:42ability for you to embed it so I could
13:45have these questions splattered it all
13:49over the web on these different
13:51platforms including say YouTube and I
13:54can embed all of that stuff and all of
13:57the embedding is me it’s my stuff that I
14:02wrote and answered and now everywhere
14:07you go there I am kind of thing and not
14:10only that I look bigger than before if I
14:14was just the post onto my own blog post
14:17it’s just me and my blog post and brand
14:19right but now I’ve got a YouTube video
14:22this is YouTube and then I got a
14:23Facebook post and now I got a Korra I
14:26just made my world look more ubiquitous
14:30me everywhere and as a brand I’m more
14:34important I’m more important and more
14:36authority in the readers eyes but also
14:40and here’s the great part also in
14:43Google’s eyes because those things
14:44really really helped with Google hey
14:47this was coach Tim I hope you learned
14:50something hopefully this really helps
14:52you to catapult your content making
14:54efforts and we’ll see you soon
